My Story: John From Durban, also known as John Shelembe.
I would like to share my ups and downs I encountered in life to educate most people that life is not always a bed of roses.
Today, it's Friday 27th of April as I scribe this blog introduction and the time is 20:28. I'm a married man with two girls and one boy. The second girl went to be with the Lord in August 2016. Really it's been a very tough two years in the family trying to forget the tragedy of sudden passing on of our loved one. Anyway, this is one of those things we human being cannot control.
I got married to my beautiful wife in 1982, having started my work carrier in 1976 after completing my high education. I had to study Production Management part time in order to put myself in line for promotion at my place of work. I worked for a good soap manufacturing company in Durban, South Africa, until I got retrenched in 2002 due to downsizing. I then ventured for property business opportunity of buying and renting apartments.
Low and behold my property business started to dwindle in 2008 due to economic changes in America which affected South Africa negatively big time. America allowed Subprime lending, ie. In finance, subprime lending means making loans to people who may have difficulty maintaining the repayment schedule, sometimes reflecting setbacks, such as unemployment, divorce, medical emergencies,
I noticed negative cash-flow in my business and eventually lost everything in 2011 and ended up in deep debt. I opted for debt counselling with the aim of applying delaying tactics in paying my creditors. My property business failed to resurrect and switched to Internet Marketing.
To be honest, without a mentor in the IM space you will go nowhere. That is me. I kept on buying objects with the hope of making some dollars like the other successful IM's. Only in 2018 when I decided to reduce in consuming IM product and follow reliable IM's.
